ORIGAMI RETREAT
Hello! My name is Caroline Lancaster and this is my business – Origami Retreat! I officially launched this business in 2016, but I have been making origami for over 25 years. In fact, I used to make these lucky stars in elementary school when I was supposed to be paying attention in class (oops!). Now I make a wide variety of different characters, animals and stars for all sorts of decorative needs. I primarily sell in my etsy shop and in person at live events like craft fairs, art shows and community days.
Although I am known online for my mini lucky stars and wedding cards, I offer so much more in person! I aim to bring out at least 3 brand new items each season – in previous years I have added bookmarks, keychains, LED light jars, as well as new varieties of Hanukkah, Christmas and other occasion cards.
Siva is the Grumpmaster Supreme. She may have a permanent grumpy face, but she can be surprisingly sweet. She really couldn’t care less about origami. She does like ear scratches and treats, and… that’s about it.
Boz is the Fluffmaster in Chief. Her goal in life is to get her fluff into or onto every order. Bonus points if it gets onto the shipping tape. She is perpetually annoyed that I am not loving on her every second of every day.
